Aloft Brussels Schuman features 147 design-themed rooms and ‘lofts’ in Brussels’ European Union district, as well as a destination lobby bar and café.
“We are thrilled to introduce Aloft to Brussels, a fitting choice for the brand’s debut in Europe,” said Roeland Vos, president, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Europe, Africa and Middle East.
“The hotel’s strategic location in the heart of the European Quarter makes a bold statement about how the brand is taking its innovative, fresh perspective on hotels to the most important locations around the world.”
Designed around an open central lobby, the hotel is aimed a young, trendy crowd, who will do business and socialize in the re:mix lounge and w xyz bar, which are signature features across the Aloft brand.
Guest rooms offer complimentary WiFi access and a plug-and-play system that connects most electronic devices to the 42" flat-screen TV.
Rooms also feature oversized windows and an “ultra-comfortable” bed, as well as another Aloft signature touch; three-metre high ceilings.
Other signature touches include the re:chargeSM fitness centre and a 24-hour grab-and-go food and beverage area called re:fuelSM by Aloft.

“In fact, Aloft represents one of the strongest brand launches in industry history and its international expansion so early in the brand’s life cycle is unprecedented.”
