“How does a night in a bubble at 9,000 feet sound?” asks Airbnb. The private rental service has done it again, offering a unique holiday experience for lucky competition winners. The lofty accommodation will be opened March 6, offering a cosy night’s stay for anyone who isn’t prone to bouts of vertigo.
Winners will arrive in style, succeeded by a cloud of powder after hammering the slopes on snowmobiles. First off, there’s gourmet in-room dining, at 9,000 feet above the valley, before the night is spent surrounded by the breathtaking views of La Saulire – the highest point in Courchevel.
To earn a chance to stay in the “bubble”, entrants just have to write why they would like be selected and have until midnight on Wednesday, February 25 to explain why they’re eager to dangle above the valley. The contest is open to families and groups of up to four people
There will be just one winner, along with his or her companions. The lucky ones will be chosen based entirely on merit, according to panel of judges looking for originality, creativity and spirit.
The panel of judges will be comprised of members of the marketing teams of Airbnb and Courchevel Tourism. The judges’ decision, as always, is final.
