An innovative addition to Dubai’s already brimming art scene, the Theatre of Digital Art at Souk Madinah Jumeirah will open on October 13, 2020. The multi-sensory, immersive art space lets visitors enter a new dimension through its multimedia exhibition and is the first art initiative in the UAE to combine all three formats of digital art: multimedia exhibitions, contemporary immersive installations and art in virtual reality, resulting in what will soon be Dubai’s most creative art, education and entertainment destination.
Spread across 1,800 square metres, the space at Souk Madinat Jumeirah will also display digital shows that combine high-end technologies with classical art, accompanied by music and visual effects.
The inaugural exhibition, From Monet to Kandinsky, Revolutionary Art, celebrates nine artists and portrays the most important art movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, led by Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Edvard Munch, Wassily Kandinsky and others.
The masters of modernism exhibition finds its way to Dubai after a huge global tour of 11 cities - from Germany to Thailand to Saudi Arabia - with over 1.5 million visitors immersing themselves in ToDA’s extraordinary digital displays.
As the saying goes… Seeing really is believing. Don’t miss the exhibition opening on October 13. For tickets and more info, visit www.toda.ae
