Riggs Washington DC, the independent hotel from Lore Group, has reopened post-Covid with a beautiful new rooftop space offering guests al fresco dining in the eternally buzzing Penn Quarter. Rooftop At Riggs presents a sophisticated outdoor space where panoramic city views are best drunk in alongside a Mediterranean-inspired aperitif or fresh fruit cocktail. The guy at the helm is Chef Patrick Curran, whose menu is literally bursting with freshness: ricotta and peach crostini, white bean and black garlic dip and roasted French onion dip.
With nostalgic ice cream sandwiches to boot, plus a 149sqm terrace, we know where we’ll be next time we’re in town.
