The first brand to be both developed and owned by Modern Food Company, Myazu has a lot going for it, and with the turn of the new year comes news that the contemporary Japanese eaterie has opened its doors in Sulaimaniya, Riyadh.
Under the watchful eye of concept chef Ian Pengelley, the menu draws inspiration from ‘The Land Of Plenty’, where East meets West, using age-old Japanese techniques to create modern masterpieces. Centred around an attention to detail philosophy, everything from the ingredients to the team to the intuitive service is meticulously thought through.
With a backdrop of subtle glamour played out in rich hues of blues and golds, the menu covers everything from seafood and sushi to robata and tempura. Sit at the robata grill or the sushi counter to enjoy the vibes from the animated kitchen, as you dine on pan-seared scallops, popcorn shrimp, black cod and tiger prawn gyoza and sweet water eel nigiri.
