As luxury hospitality continues to boom in the UK capital, there’s never been more pressure on high-end chains to put their best foot forward. And that’s exactly what Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London has done with the unveiling of its latest renovations, redesigns and upgrades.
After months of painstaking improvements, the hotel’s public areas, restaurants and event spaces are once again open to guests, breathing new life into the prestigious London address.
Perhaps most impressively, the Spa at Mandarin Oriental, London has been enlarged and reimagined by New York designer Adam D. Tihany. The facility now boasts 13 individual treatment rooms, an Oriental Suite with two massage beds and a room dedicated to Chinese Medicine consultations and treatments.
For foodies, two Michelin star restaurant, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, and Bar Boulud are now welcoming guests for lunch and dinner. Both promise a contemporary dining experience, with a whole host of innovative new dishes and wacky experimentations to tantalise and tempt. With international designer Joyce Wang at the helm, public spaces have taken on a distinctly nature-inspired tone, blending contemporary materials with more traditional finishes to add texture.
