On the first day of Christmas, Silversea gave to us… a choice of all-inclusive fares available on featured luxury Mediterranean and Africa voyages in 2016. The trips will take cruise lovers from the monuments of ancient Rome to the golden beaches of Cape Town, calling at a variety of ports to find diverse cultures and stunning scenery.
The new packages include roundtrip air travel and transfers and a two-night pre-cruise hotel stay for Mediterranean sailings – or a three-night safari for Africa sailing. In addition, fees include complimentary Silver Shore Select excursions and free on-board Wi-Fi. Business class flights are also optional as an upgrade.
The packages are available on a trio of Silver Cloud voyages to Africa and the Indian Ocean, plus 30 Mediterranean cruises on board Silver Cloud, Silver Wind, and Silver Spirit, and join the previously announced Silver Shadow Asia cruises, which also offer the all-inclusive package amenities.
"We want our guests to enjoy the flexibility of choice and Silversea is the only ultra-luxury line offering such an array of options," said Lisa McAuley, Silversea’s commercial director of UK and Ireland "Whether guests book cruise-only or opt for a seamless, tailor-made all-inclusive voyage, they will experience the highest levels of comfort, convenience, and value."
The Silver Cloud Africa and Indian Ocean voyages depart next November and December and include a comprehensive safari experience and one night at the Fairmont Norfolk hotel in Nairobi, and two nights at the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. From Cape Town, the safari includes one night at a deluxe hotel and two nights at a Kruger National Park lodge with guided game drives.
Features on board Silversea include open-seating gourmet dining; butler service for all suites; complimentary Champagne, select wines and premium spirits. The in-suite bar is stocked to your preference and fine dining is available 24 hours a day. Guests are also entitled to $1,200 of shipboard credit for all new guests, while Venetian Society guests receive a $1,500 shipboard credit or two-category suite upgrade on select voyages when they book by February 29, 2016.
