It would'nt be hyperbole to say that the current head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, is one of the most beloved popes of all time – which is fairly impressive since he’s number 266. Many have the chance to meet the papal celeb as he tours the world and preaches peace, love and tolerance, and it seems he’s even happy to pose for selfies with his younger fans.
Getting some real quality time with Pope Francis, however, is a little challenging – but now’s your chance. Quintessentially Lifestyle, an exclusive members-only concierge service, is has offered the chance to meet the Argentine native before a public address in St. Peter’s Square on August 31. The event is part of the World UnPlugNPlay Festival, which is themed around unplugging from technology and engaging with those around us.
The festival takes place nearby in the Vatican City and is (delightfully) sponsored by table tennis manufacturer Killerspin. For the sum of $25,000, the Quintessentially Lifestyle package will include a private tour of the world’s smallest nation and the Sistine Chapel, followed by cocktails and dinner at the Connect21 Ping Pong Diplomacy Event. Participating members will also stay at the luxury Forte Village Resort in Sardinia with transfers included.
The proceeds from the meet-and-greet will be gifted to the non-profit organisation Best Buddies International, which helps supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The festival actually starts August 29 and a host of other packages are available, such as a private tour of Palazzo Colonna and terrace seats at the Sistine Chapel Gala dinner.
