The Dunluce Course, Northern IrelandThe Open makes an historic return to Northern Ireland in 2019. BAYREUTH FESTIVAL

Held annually in Bayreuth, Germany, performances take place in a specially designed theatre, the Bayreuth Festspielhaus, celebrating the works of Wagner, among others. It is notoriously difficult to get tickets since demand (estimated at 500,000) greatly exceeds supply (58,000 tickets), with a waiting time estimated to be from five to 10 years or more. The iconic Bayreuth Festival is also the story of a family. The festival’s management has been in the hands of the Wagner family since 1876.
