After popping up as seasonal destinations this summer in Baku, Santorini and Mykonos, Buddha-Bar Beach has set its sights on the Middle East, where the venue’s very first permanent destination will open later this year at the luxe St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
The famed restaurant-bar-lounge concept has been known for its unique atmosphere since launching in Paris in 1996, and this newest, beachfront, incarnation releases that energy into an al fresco setting. From morning to night, guests – anticipated to comprise the region’s chic residents and the international jet set – can nosh on cocktails and cuisine that mixes Asian flavours with Mediterranean flair. Buddha-Bar DJs will also be present, creating a soundtrack alongside culinary events, guest DJs, and nightly entertainment and performers.
“We are really proud to bring Buddha-Bar Beach to Abu Dhabi. The new exotic concept will go beyond expectations, offering signature sounds and fabulous food in a stunning setting with world-class beach and pool facilities. It is an enticing proposition for sophisticated guests and residents who love fine dining, music, and modern design,” said Marwan Fadel, Hotel Manager of The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
Situated on one of Saadiyat’s most prime locations, sparkling seas and picturesque views will set a fine backdrop to the sophisticated spot – sure to be one of the capital’s hottest new destinations.
