Melco Crown Resorts Corporation has announced the introduction of the Nobu Hospitality brand into the Philippines with the first Nobu Hotel in Asia.
The 321-room boutique Nobu Hotel is inspired by the world-renowned Japanese culinary genius Nobu Matsuhisa and is being championed by De Niro, along with Hollywood producer Meir Teper.
The celebrity-inspired 'fun-luxury' experience will be located at City of Dreams Manila, Melco’s new integrated casino resort currently under development at Entertainment City, Manila.
The hotel will feature a Nobu Restaurant with an outdoor cabana-styled dining terrace, situated on a platform deck with views of Manila Bay.
The Nobu Hotel will offer a special in-room menu carefully crafted by Chef Nobu. In addition, guests will enjoy the Nobu Tea Lounge in the lobby, the Nobu Spa and the Fitness Room situated on the raised platform deck.
“I am delighted that City of Dreams Manila has collaborated with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Nobu Hospitality partners Mr. Robert De Niro and Mr. Meir Teper, together with the entire Nobu Hospitality executive team to deliver Asia's first Nobu Hotel to Manila,” said. When it opens later in 2014, City of Dreams Manila will cover a 6.2-hectare site at the gateway to Entertainment City.
