They may not instil fear into the hearts of your fellow partygoers but these Halloween outfits are certainly startling.
In addition to the new diamond adorned Million Pound Morphsuit that is now on sale, we picked another five head-turning outfit options that will set you back thousands of dollars.
1. Veniamin’s Human Slinky Costume: $1,000,000
This costly costume is no newcomer. The Human Slinky (above) has appeared on both the Late Show and America’s Got Talent in recent years and also won best costume at the Rio Carnival in 2012. It might not seem like a scary option at first – until you see this video.
2. Iron Man armour: $2,800
“Is not enough to say that you will get a super insane kick-ass Iron Suit?” asks the eBay seller, who offers a super-accurate Iron Man body, helmet, boots, gloves, lighting and more. Similar suits have reportedly fetched up to $4,999. The seller also posted a video of him sporting the outfit. But what’s the catch for looking this good? The wearer may struggle to sit down.
3. Medieval suit of armour: $9,915
An Indian eBay entry has already been sold for almost $10,000, but may provide some inspiration for you to become a knight in shining armour this Halloween.
4. Spider-Man movie replica costume: $2,500
The scariest thing about this costume is how it looks when it’s unzipped. You may not be able to spin a web any size, but this costume is an inch-perfect replica of the costume used in the recent Hollywood blockbusters and sold for $2,500 on eBay.
5. SIREN Gem Tron Legacy costume: $2,000
One for the ladies, this lycra bodysuit is an unofficial Tron Legacy that has been hand-sewn. The high gloss PVC reflective tape produces a shiny effect when flash photography is used. But who can tell, right?
