It may seem like the Grand Hotel Tremezzo goes into hibernation each and every winter season – but there’s always something going on behind the scenes.
Today's reopening is no exception, given that guests are being treated to a new Signature Spa alongside its previous T Spa offering, in partnership with ESPA, as well as a multi-million dollar refurbishment of the grand dame’s guestrooms - all in addition to last summer's launch of T Beach.
The hotel is also transforming its 18th century Villa Emilia, unveiling over 1,000 square metres of wellness space, comprised of five Ruggero Venelli-designed treatment rooms that all offer ESPA treatments and products. In addition, a Hammam and nail bar complement the breath-taking infinity pool and three-storey gym.
Also within Villa Emilia is an all-new luxury guestroom, Suite Emilia, which gives private access to the T Spa and is well suited to anyone seeking a wellness escape. All other guest rooms have seen a touch up to their interiors, with inspiration taken from the cascading park at the hotel’s rear.
Guests can also still enjoy the “hidden” T Spa Suite for a completely serene spa experience, according to the hotel, and can also partake in some fine dining at La Terrazza restaurant, overlooking Lake Como, which offers menus curated by Italian chef Gualtiero Marchesi.
To celebrate today’s reopening for the 2015, there’s also a Grand Opening Package for anyone booking prior to April 2. The offer includes a 20 percent discount, a daily buffet breakfast at La Terrazza Restaurant, free room upgrades (depending on availability) and early check-in and late check-out whenever possible.
