You wait for a truly remarkable superyacht concept and three come along at once. This hat trick of hot new yacht concepts come courtesy of Eramotive and is fully equipped with luxury facilities to match the sleek designs.
The obvious adjective would be “futuristic”, but the Miami-based yacht design firm may soon make these streamlined hybrids a reality. The series is comprised of a Goldilocks-esque formation. The relatively modest 148-foot, three-deck vessel is overshadowed by the 246-foot, five-deck and 418-foot, seven deck versions.
Each upper deck features retractable awnings (as shown below and in the company's promotional video), lined with solar panels. The broader solar panel coverage is an optional extra but the designers claim the surfaces can collect enough energy to propel the largest boat at a rate of 10 knots – with zero emissions.
In addition to the clean power, the layout can be adapted for any green-fingered passengers. The solar energy system can be customised to include a hydroponic garden, which would ensure the freshest produce, even where there are no supermarkets for several nautical miles in every direction. Other customisable options include cinemas, libraries, a ballroom, sushi bar, squash & basketball courts and a nine car garage.
When it comes to accommodation, the master suites rival any top hotel. The foremost guestroom supplies 6,028 square feet of space, equipped with a sauna. The 418-foot boat hosts an impressive range of 20 guest suites in total – many more with saunas also.
And let’s not forget the toys. How about these DeepFlight Super Falcon subs? The superyachts come equipped with the Super Falcon Mark II, which has been redesigned since the debut model and is designed for fun; capable of barrel rolling with dolphins, cruising alongside whales. All in sufficient style and comfort to match the Iris vessels.
