Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is planning to hold a series of free live exhibitions called Inside Rolls-Royce, starting this month.
The British marque will open the first exhibition from November 13 to 16 at the Saatchi Gallery on London’s King’s Road before the show hits the road, visiting major cities worldwide throughout 2015.
Inside Rolls-Royce will offer guests a “multi-sensory journey”, according to organisers. The event is also designed to show off the marque’s world-renowned engineering, design and craftsmanship that go into making the luxury motor cars.
Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös commented: “It is only right that we give those people who support us free access to this great brand, and that this journey around the world begins in London, this most international of cities and the spiritual home of Rolls-Royce.”
Each of the nine rooms at Saatchi Gallery will focus on various key aspects in the creation of the vehicles. For example, the first room will demonstrate Rolls-Royce’s palette of 44,000 paint colours via an innovative digital display.
Another room is dedicated to the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy, offering visitors the chance to transform themselves into the iconic statuette that adorns every Rolls – all recorded on video.
There is, of course, also the opportunity for visitors to get up-close and personal with a classic Rolls-Royce car, which will be on show at the gallery.
