The Eternal City’s legendary Rome Cavalieri is rewarding guests booking stays in its suites with a series of unique luxury experiences. Ranging from a personal photo shoot to a sandal-making class with a local artisan, each of the destination activities draw on the hotel’s long relationship with the city and its inhabitants.
Anyone staying in the hotel’s top suites (Napoleon, Petronius, Planetarium or the Penthouse Suite) can enjoy a taste of the city with a spring blossom tour and private visit to the Vatican Gardens or the Pope’s summer residence, complete with champagne in the park and 80-minute couple’s massage; or a personal photo shoot with a professional photographer, plus a day’s use of a Mercedes and driver to ferry them around the city.
Guests staying in the hotel’s Vista or Corner Suites can spend a day with a family-run shoemaker and learn how to craft a pair of traditional Italian sandals; or enjoy a luxurious picnic in the hotel’s manicured garden, waited on by a private butler. Guests staying six nights or more also get a private yoga session and 80-minute couple’s massage.
Corner Suite guests and those booking Alcove Suites can also choose from a private culinary tour of the city with tastings at six top restaurants (including Rome’s number one pizzeria), plus return transfers to the Mercato Trionfale. The experiences are subject to a minimum length of stay, but each can be booked separately (for an additional fee) by any Rome Cavalieri guest. La dolce vita indeed.
