The international powerhouse auction-house will stage its first Dubai auction, building on its success since opening a gallery and office in the city earlier this year. The diverse auction will offer up highly covetable works from the likes of the late visionary architect Zaha Hadid; a rare collection of letters from Khalil Gibran (author of masterpiece, The Prophet) to his friend and mentor Madame Marie Azeez El-Khoury; and paintings from Ali Banisadr and Jean Debuffet. The auction is set to reveal and celebrate new perspectives on art both from and inspired by the Middle East, transcending both cultural and geographical boundaries. Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum will serve as patron of the dynamic cross-category sale, to be held November 13.
