Swiss International Air Lines has said “wilkommen” to a new fleet of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and is vowing to raise the bar across its long-haul services.
New routes include the US west coast, South America and various Asian destinations from summer 2016 onwards. Swiss has said the upgrade and expansion is part of its 'Next-Generation Airline of Switzerland' strategy, which includes nine new extended range triple sevens with slick new First Class offerings.

Of the 340 seats on offer, 62 will be Business Class (pictured below) and just eight will be First, which can be transformed into a private suite that includes a 32-inch screen – the largest in the industry. Swiss First guests will also be treated to electrically-adjustable window blinds and a decent amount of wardrobe space.

Business seating also boasts privacy, space and freedom, with cushion options and lie-flat seats that stretch out an ample 6’7”. All of the new flagship Boeings will offer WiFi , and even economy customers can sit back and enjoy "a large personal touchscreen’ display".
From summer 2016, the aircraft will be deployed on services to LA, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. San Francisco, São Paulo and Tel Aviv, several times each week.
