As the long-awaited Grand Egyptian Museum prepares to open its doors in Cairo, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has cemented its position as one of the leading luxury hotel operators in the country with plans for three new hotel and residential projects in Cairo, Luxor and Sharm El Sheikh.
Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Cairo Capital at Madinaty will be the flagship hotel within Cairo’s burgeoning new satellite city, with 346 rooms and suites and a collection of Private Residences made up of 107 villas and 80 luxury residences. Created by French interior designer and long-term Four Seasons collaborator Pierre-Yves Rochon, the property will be home to extensive spa and wellness facilities, waterfront dining and a vaulted ballroom and events lawn.
To the south, Four Seasons Hotel Luxor will bring modern luxury to the ancient city of Thebes, with 200 guestrooms and suites overlooking the Nile, the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. Regular Four Seasons partners WATG Architects and Wimberley Interiors will be responsible for the hotel’s look and feel, and when it opens in 2025, the property will be home to a Kids For All Seasons programme and young adults centre, multiple pools and a spa and fitness facility, all within a stone’s throw of the Karnak ad Luxor temple complexes.
Following a multi-million-dollar expansion and renovation that was completed earlier this year, Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Sharm El Sheikh is now adding an additional 69 Private Residences comprising 25 four- and five-bedroom villas and 44 two-bedroom chalets, all with private pools and Red Sea views.
Developed in partnership with real estate development firm and long-term partner Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG), the new projects will almost double Four Seasons’ portfolio in Egypt. TMG also owns Four Seasons properties in Alexandria, Sharm El Sheikh and Cairo at Nile Plaza.
