Ultima Collection’s vision to create unique experiences for the new generation ensures when guests visit one of its four beautiful properties, they never want to leave. Ushering in advancements in experiential hospitality, with its focus on unrivalled levels of service, bespoke offerings and an exquisite eye for detail, here the vision goes beyond luxury, and you’ll find refined high-living like no other.
With four properties scattered throughout Switzerland and France – from the city streets of Geneva, to the ski slopes of Crans-Montana and the mountains of Megève – all-encompassing luxury is a way of life at Ultima Collection. Whether you’re travelling to ski, sightsee or spa, no stone is left unturned in anticipating your needs, perhaps before you even know them yourself. Private multi-lingual ski instructors, in-residence private chefs, bespoke nanny services, customised housekeeping... all of this and more is at your beck and call, harnessing Ultima Collection’s USP of its tailor-made attention to you, the guest.
Founded in 2016 by Byron Baciocchi and Max-Hervé George, Ultima Collection launched its first five-superior starred hotel in Gstaad, winning ‘Best Ski Resort Hotel’ and ‘Trendsetter Hotel of the Year’. Next followed a collection of homes, hotels and residences, with visitors flocking to the ultra-luxury chalets that opened in December 2019, in Crans-Montana and Megève.
Now, with four properties under its belt, a further opening in Courchevel, France, later this year, and Corfu on the radar for an upcoming launch, Ultima Collection’s expansion objective capitalises on the most beautiful and on-trend locations throughout Europe, and beyond.
Look closer at the individual properties and Ultima Collection’s innovative approach is felt throughout. Its debut property in Gstaad, with its refined contemporary interiors, is a haven for ski enthusiasts requiring more than just snow.
By summer, Gstaad lays claim to some of the most bucolic views and freshest mountain air in Europe, perfect for those who are outdoor-inclined, while its Ultima Spa by La Prairie is a perennial favourite, and the Ultima Clinic offers the best in aesthetic, anti-ageing and detox medicine.
Elsewhere in Switzerland, Ultima Geneva is an exceptional urban retreat in the most secluded city setting. A villa with all the services of a five-superior hotel, the property is home to nine suites, a lounge rooftop terrace, family cinema, spa, Ultima Clinic, teppanyaki restaurant and space for private in-house dining courtesy of the best chefs in the world. And then, just 30 minutes away by helicopter (or two hours by car), you’ll find Ultima Crans-Montana, two luxurious chalets in the altitude of Plateau de Plan-Mayens, that are the epitome of Swiss luxury. Here, a private chef, driver, library, cigar lounge, spa and clinic are on call, as is the possibility to ski-in/ski-out direct from your door.
Ultima Collection’s unrivalled excellence extends to France, to the mountains of Megève, where you’ll find a unique chalet hosting up to 18 people, that prides itself on tranquillity and privacy. Perfect for après-ski, here a swimming pool, spa, salon, hammam, night club, wine cellar and cinema await, as does a private helicopter transfer from Geneva organised by the concierge. Extending once more, Ultima Courchevel will open in December – with 13 residences – taking the collection up to five.
If ultra-luxury bespoke experiences are your holiday requirement, few places on earth offer such an extraordinary level of refinement. And with such an innovative, client-focused ideology at its heart, you know that your stay with Ultima Collection will be truly unsurpassed.
