Cuba is set to get a new luxurious and spacious hideaway with the Cayo Guillermo Resort Kempinski this year. The all-new resort hotel in the paradisiac location of Cayo Guillermo, approximately 500 kilometres east of Havana, will be the country’s first non-all-inclusive resort hotel.
The hotel will offer an authentic experience, inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s legacy and love for the Cayo. The resort will be built like the bow of a boat advancing into the Atlantic Ocean, and surrounded by a natural landscape and extensive gardens, it will offer 245 rooms and suites.
These will include six over-water villas with panoramic views and a minimum size of 75sqm each, plus a 200sqm over-water presidential suite, all of which will have private pools. The majority of the standard guest rooms will also have unobstructed sea views and the famous white sand Playa Pilar beach is adjacent to the resort.
Cayo Guillermo Resort Kempinski will ensure guests will be privy to barefoot luxury, including spa and yoga, extensive pool landscapes and gastronomic delights. A kids club, gym, tennis court, lobby bar and cigar bar round off the facilities in this luxurious hideaway.
