Gourmet experiences are a given when staying at luxury resorts, but Soneva is taking things to the next level with a new partnership with the MICHELIN Guide that will see chefs from 20 MICHELIN-starred restaurants take residence at the company’s resorts in the Maldives and Thailand in the coming months.
At Soneva Fushi in the Maldives, chefs including London’s Tom Aikens, Germany’s Tim Raue and France’s Ronan Kervarrec will be taking over the resort’s new dining venue, Once Upon a Table, which seats up to eight guess in an intimate show-kitchen surrounded by Indian Ocean views.
The culinary collaboration is part of Soneva’s annual Festival of Colour, which sees a series of visiting experts spending time at Soneva’s resorts. A rotating line-up of explorers, free-divers, astronauts, astronomers, authors, wellness experts, wine producers and sake experts will share insights and stories during a calendar of talks, events and masterclasses throughout the year.
