The much-anticipated Arctic Bath Hotel & Spa is taking shape on the banks of Sweden’s Lule River. The main spa building and six floating cabins freeze into the ice during the winter and float on top in the summer. Six additional cabins on the riverbank are already complete, boasting sleek Scandi-chic interiors with pine walls and dark oak floors, spiral stairways leading to a mezzanine level and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river.
Three nights in a floating cabin including breakfast and five-course dinners, spa treatments and Northern Lights tour start from US $3,189 per person.
