TANKOA’S M/Y VERTIGE S501
Boutique shipyard Tankoa debuted its new S501 M/Y Vertige at the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show, the concept and exterior conceptualised by Francesco Paszkowski with interior design in collaboration with Margherita Casprini.
Built entirely from light alloy Aluminum 5083 resulting in decreased weight and therefore fuel consumption, the yacht has six cabins, including an owner’s cabin that maximises light and space with full windows – and two electro-hydraulic hatches that open to create two private balconies over the sea – along with a master suite on the main deck, two VIP and two guest cabins, and quarters for eight crew on the lower deck. A dining zone seating up to 14 guests, open-air lounge and bar zone,a wrap-around sofa that seats up to 20 and home cinema makes it ideal for entertaining, while days at sea can be spent at the gym, dipping in the swimming pool and Jacuzzi, or making use of the toys with a garage for a 7m tender and storage area for two jet skis. Of course, the interiors are second to none, with teak and rosewood trimmed with warm bronze and leather and small works of art, all sophisticated and with a high level of finishing.

CRN’S CLOUD 9
With a helipad, a beach club, gym and hair salon, there is no reason to step foot on dry land if Cloud 9 is your superyacht. As one of the more outstanding debuts at Monaco, the 74-metre CRN masterpiece presented in partnership with Burgess, Zuccon International Project and Winch Design was specifically designed for families who want to spend longer periods of time on board and feel entirely at home doing so.
Though there’s no chance of feeling hemmed in aboard this stunning vessel, which makes the most of the great outdoors with a number of open-air areas, from the 400sqm private deck forward of the master suite to the beach club with an extended platform at sea level, a 13-metre water slide and an on deck pool. Luxuriously accommodating up to 16 guests across eight cabins, one VIP cabin and six doubles, in addition to accommodation for 22 crew members and a further two cabins for four staff members, Cloud 9’s owner’s suite is a masterpiece with dark resin back-lit feature lights, marine-themed artwork, a bas-relief handcrafted by a Veneto-based craftsman and woodworker and a bathroom clad in various marbles. With two garages with space for numerous toys and a bar fully-equipped for Teppanyaki-style cooking, there’s a long list of finery on board this stunner that would make it a dream to own, but chartering in the Caribbean this winter is another possibility, with weekly rates from US$875,000.
