This year at Boat International Media's World Superyacht Awards 2017, Sybaris took home “Sailing Yacht of the Year”, having impressed with its grand 70 metres created to sail the world in the ultimate comfort and style. Built by Perini Navi, the vessel boasts the largest flying bridge on the water and spacious, well-lit contemporary interiors by PH Design. In the motor-yacht category, Lürssen’s Dilbar took home best of the year thanks to its superb quality despite its complex and challenging creation – including largest gross tonnage and largest indoor swimming pool – as well as featuring rare materials and a striking overall design. Another standout was Gipsy, winning in the “Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts 34-39.9m” category owed to its remarkable “no-nonsense” exterior lines and practical – but still stylishly modern – interiors by shipyard Otam.
