After the success of its Cretan resort Numo Ierapetra, up-and-coming Greek hospitality brand Numo is set to open a new Mykonian resort. Opening in June, Numo Mykonos will be located on the eastern side of Mykonos at the surfers’ paradise, Kalafati beach. Inspired by the carefree and vibrant era of the 60s and 70s, the boutique hotel is designed to reflect the strong culture of the island. True to the brand’s design philosophy, one inspired by the locale, nature and traditional materials, 27 rooms are decorated in a relaxed style. Featuring black and white striped marble floors, statement brass light fixtures, decorative objects selected by Cycladic ceramic workshops and built-in vintage beds and sitting areas, they reflect traditional Mykonian architecture.

The standout Evergreen Absolute Suite epitomises quiet luxury, with a private garden and pool with views of Kalafati. Offering guests a taste of Mykonian culinary delights at the all-day Anemoessa Restaurant, authentic Greek cuisine is peppered with modern elements. At Màre Màre bar, Numo Mykonos collaborated with a renowned Athens-based bar to create a series of signature cocktails rooted in Greek tradition. True to Numo’s philosophy of sustainability, ingredients are sourced from producers that cultivate using natural farming methods. At Etherea Boutique Spa, guests can enjoy treatments that utilise Mykonian sun and mother organic products, work out at the indoor-outdoor Ensoma Fitness Area and shop beachwear pieces by Greek designers in the Mosaique boutique.
