To continue Dubai’s fondness for Greek food, the city welcomes Aiza, a beautiful new Greek-meets-Mediterranean restaurant at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah, that draws culinary inspiration from the Cyclades Islands in the Aegean.
A home-grown concept that serves up dishes derived from Santorini, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros and other Greek islands, this taverna promises to take you on a multi-sensory journey somewhere lively and full of flavour. The family sharing-style menu features all the good Greek classics, such as Souvlaki – which is prepared at your table while you watch – prawns saganaki, moussaka and deliciously creamy and garlicky Tsaziki.
Venture a little off piste to try Aiza signatures, including slow-cooked lamb shank ladorigani with roast potatoes, Greek caviar, and grilled Tsipoura fillet with lemon and fennel. Oh, and the view is almost as delicious as the food.
