Heritage Line has given Violet a makeover in time for the vessel’s 15th anniversary. The Southeast Asian river cruise firm has redesigned suites, dining venues and public areas on its smallest ship. The refurb project has redesigned the vessel’s two 344-square-foot Junior Suites and four 409-square-foot Imperial Suites, which now feature a contemporary French-Indochinese design inspired by Halong Bay’s distinctive elements – water, mountains, clouds, phoenix, moon and dragon. The smallest of Heritage Line’s fleet of seven ships, Violet returned to service on October 31.
