Inking an agreement with property developers Pelligra Group and Giannarelli Group, The Ritz-Carlton’s third property in Australia will debut on the Gold Coast in 2026. Central to a $480-million waterfront development at Mariner’s Cove, set to reinvigorate Australia’s sixth largest city, the 150-room property will be a gateway to some of the city’s popular tourist attractions. Heralding a new level of luxury on the Gold Coast, the hotel will also feature a unique 275-square-metre hotel suite. The waterfront location is expected to be a big draw, alongside the vicinity of a plethora of waterfront restaurants and bars, the Broadwater and sandy beaches.
Guests will also be able to experience refined dining establishments on the property, with a signature restaurant featuring semi-opened kitchens, café, and three bars including a Lobby Lounge, destination bar and poolside bar. An outdoor rooftop pool, fitness centre and signature Ritz-Carlton Spa will deliver innovative and revitalising wellness experiences. “The Ritz-Carlton, Gold Coast anticipates to elevate the city’s tourism pedigree to an entirely new level of energy and quality, redefining Main Beach and The Spit,” says Dion Giannarelli, Giannarelli Group’s CEO. “With the attention to detail and highest quality finishes we are applying to the project, we are confident The Ritz-Carlton, Gold Coast will be one of the world’s finest luxury resort.”
