Blending luxury and sustainability OCN Resort & Residences has announced its latest project in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Slated for a summer 2024 opening, the property will be located on Palmarito Beach, offering a range of amenities and culinary concepts. The biodiversity of the area, which is home to several endangered bird species, forms the backdrop of the property where sustainability is ingrained into every aspect. The resort will comprise luxury vacation villas as well as units for purchase, each equipped with a private pool and rooftop space.
Additional highlights of the resort will include a sushi bar, cigar lounge, poolside lounge, espresso lounge, and a restaurant helmed by American chef Brad Kilgore. A 24-hour concierge service will be on hand to assist guests and the hospitality team will help create a relaxing experience catered to each guest’s specific needs. The property will also offer recreational activities that promote sensory experiences for those who want to find wellness and beauty in the wild. Capitalising on its proximity to the bioluminescent lagoon – Laguna de Manialtepec – visitors will be able to enjoy a selection of water activities, such as a late-night swim illuminated by the glowing waters, water skiing, surfing and wakeboarding during the day.
