Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is bringing boutique luxury to Mexico’s northern metropolis, Monterrey, with new branded residences set to open in 2026. The property will be located within Torre Rise, a mixed-use skyscraper that will become one of the tallest towers in Latin America.
Kimpton Monterrey will feature 120 guestrooms alongside 60 private residences, catering to travellers and long-term residents. Guests will have access to a wellness centre with an indoor pool, sauna and treatment rooms, as well as a 16th-floor restaurant and lobby lounge with sweeping views of the city and the Sierra Madre Oriental mountain range.
As per other Kimpton properties, the Monterrey hotel will offer the Kimpton Social evening social hour, a ‘Forgot It? We’ve Got It!’ programme for a wide range of amenities, in-room yoga mats and pet-friendly policies. Positioned near major business leisure destinations, the hotel gives easy access to luxury retail and entertainment, as well as Torre Rise’s own exclusive amenities. The project, which will also include 1,200 square metres of event space, marks Kimpton’s sixth planned property in Mexico. Part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, the brand currently has 78 hotels open globally, with 57 projects in the pipeline.
