Nobu Hospitality will make its Egyptian debut in Autumn 2025 with the launch of Nobu Restaurant New Cairo, followed by a hotel opening in 2027. Located in Eastown District New Cairo (EDNC), the project is recognisable for its Japanese minimalism, elevated by Egyptian architectural influences.
The two-level restaurant will span 2,200 square metres and accommodate up to 300 guests. Design features include a monolithic limestone sushi bar, suspended sculptural lighting and columns finished with backlit mashrabiya patterns. Upstairs, guests will find a cigar lounge, feature bar and dining room with gold-toned accents and charcoal wood.

The hotel, occupying 6,385 square metres, will offer more than 50 rooms and suites along with a spa, pool deck, state-of-the-art gym and multipurpose event spaces. Interiors will incorporate natural materials, textures reminiscent of the desert and Nobu’s contemporary Japanese aesthetic.
Eastown District is already home to an emerging collection of high-end dining and retail outlets. With the addition of Nobu, it is positioned to become a new focal point for upscale hospitality in the city.
