Faena Hotel Miami Beach
Miami, Florida, USA
Hollywood’s Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin impart their distinctive design style on all interiors and public spaces in this classy new Miami debut. The team took their inspiration from the great opera houses of the world, and the hotel’s 280-sqm theatre will present live cabaret shows for guests and the public alike, while the hotel’s fire kitchen, Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann, will be the celebrated Argentine chef’s only restaurant in the United States.
Miami not only welcomes the new luxury boutique, but the property also inaugurates an entire cultural district. Faena Hotel Miami Beach arrives alongside Faena Forum, a new art and cultural institution by Rem Koolhaas; Faena House, an 18-storey condominium by Foster and Partners; Faena Versailles, two residential towers – and much more.
Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca
Casablanca, Morocco
On a sliding scale, the term “urban oasis” may conjure up an image of some foliage within a cityscape, or it could be a fitting description of Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca. The 186-room property cascades to the Atlantic from within Morocco’s largest city, just 10 minutes from the financial district. The honking and hollering, however, is a distant memory as most guest rooms and suites offer balconies overlooking the ocean.
The same views can be enjoyed from the hotel’s lobby lounge and signature French restaurant Bleu, helmed by executive chef Thierry Papillier. Guests can also head to Mint for daily afternoon tea, before getting their glow back at Le Spa with a balneo aquatic experience, complete with an ice fountain, whirlpool and steam rooms.

Mövenpick Siam Hotel
Pattaya, Thailand
Mövenpick offers a slice of its coveted Swiss luxury in Thailand’s vibrant Pattaya. The hotel is also setting itself up as a destination for water sports lovers, with a comprehensive range of activities, as well as a fully equipped fitness centre, golf concierge, island cruises, deep-sea fishing tours and regional excursions. The hotel brand also has Residences and Pool Villas nearby, just a 75-minute drive from the international airport.
