The waiting is over… The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina’s refurbishment is complete and there are some exciting transformations for guests to enjoy.
Spanning three years, the extensive renovation by agency, Stickman Tribe, sees a complete overhaul of the property’s 294 rooms and suites with interiors saying goodbye to the traditional Westin Brand and welcoming a new more sleek, modern outlook.
As part of the new approach, two personalities, Penelope and George, were created to reflect the hotel’s refreshed identity and breathe life into it.
Designed for deluxe and Westin Club categories, Penelope rooms are all about colour. Think clean lines with a colour palette of light natural textures with bright patterns. George rooms whose categories include deluxe suites, family suites and the penthouse, showcase luxury in a contemporary form. Expect leather headboards and modern wing-back chairs complemented by mood lighting. Walls are adorned by tasteful artworks with balconies offering unimpeded views of the Arabian Gulf.
But the rooms are not the only area of the hotel to receive an upgrade. The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi’s Conservatory has been elevated to feature a monochromatic palette and is sectioned off into an exotic gazebo, a living, and a games room, alongside the Westin Club Lounge which has seen a glass, neonatal style winter garden installed.
“The brief was to bring life and atmosphere back into the spaces, cultivating a timeless guest experience while also creating a sense of fun. The project was to feel luxurious and elevated in a resort environment where tourists and locals can meet, reside, and play, says Marcos Cain, Founder of Stickman Tribe.
