If you’re planning a trip between London and Abu Dhabi, then good news comes courtesy of British Airways who is relaunching its route to and from the capitals.
Having been grounded for four years, the route will see the airline ferry passengers between London Heathrow and Abu Dhabi International Airport on a daily basis, with the first flight scheduled to take-off on April 20, 2024.
Flights will depart the UAE capital at 10.10am during the summer months, and at 11.10am during the winter, with landing time in London expected to be 3.20pm.
For the return journey, flights will leave Heathrow at 10.25pm and touch down in Abu Dhabi at 8.30am in the summer and 10.30am in the winter.
“Abu Dhabi is a unique destination that is making a very welcome return to our network,” says Neil Chernoff, Director of Network and Alliances British Airways. “With a blend of beach, city and desert, it has everything our customers are looking for in a Middle Eastern trip, and we look forward to welcoming them back on board as we grow our footprint in the UAE.”
British Airways will be stationed in Abu Dhabi International Airport’s new Terminal A which will open to the public from November 1.
