Although Dubai is known more for its towering skyscrapers and glitzy nightlife than its burgeoning cultural scene, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is bucking the trend with its latest package by targeting the Emirate’s art-loving visitors.

With an ever-expanding portfolio of more than 100 paintings and 30 sculptures, the hotel is offering guests unprecedented access to its collection through the Discover with You package.

Devised to celebrate the arrival of 20 new sculptures – created by a host of internationally renowned artists – the package includes a private guided tour of Ritz-Carlton’s artworks, from French sculptor Fabienne Arietti’s ‘Jack the Dog’ in the lobby, to ‘L’Espadon’ by Mauro Corda, a three-metre aluminium swordfish that sits atop the stunning waterfall in The Sunken garden.

The package is on offer in collaboration with neighbouring Opera Gallery, who ensure that the hotel’s collection is rotated on a quarterly basis.

Along with the expert-led guided tour, the package includes overnight accommodation in a Deluxe Room or Executive Suite, including breakfast and AED185 (US $50) to spend in the hotel’s restaurant or spa.
