With pop-up shops and restaurants all the rage, Belgian outdoor furniture manufacturer Royal Botania jumped on the bandwagon with the launch of the ultra-luxury Tender2 hotel back in 2012.
Returning for a second consecutive year, the pop-up retreat is located on Knokke-Heist beach in Belgium, where it will remain until 15 September, offering guests a hotel experience unlike any other.
The unconventional two-storey mini-resort has popped up in cities from London to Paris over the last 12 months, and has impressed with its modern quarters and contemporary design. If you choose to book with the hotel, you become its exclusive guests and gain private access to the entire resort.
From your spacious double bedroom, you can enjoy beach views or relax in the suite’s very own hot tub while watching your favourite program on the flat-screen TV. You won’t need to go far to grab the bubbly either, as the room also boasts its own smeg fridge.
The ground floor includes a small kitchen, dining room and marble sauna, all decorated in minimal retro style and giving direct access to the beach through floor-to-ceiling glass doors.
If the weather is fine, the suite’s private outdoor area comes complete with deck chairs and hammocks from Royal Botania’s luxury furniture range. There is even a covered dining table where your personal butler can serve up some tasty haute cuisine.
