Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has come up with a unique way for its guests to combat the problem of only being allowed to carry liquids of 100ml or less on planes.
The company has introduced a new fragrance butler, whose services will be offered complimentary to all guests checking into one of its city properties.
The fragrance butler will be armed with ten luxury fragrances and colognes, which guests can borrow as and when they choose.
From the time they check in, guests can ring a buzzer in their rooms to summon the butler, who will appear with fragrances placed on a silver tray. The guest will then spritz himself/herself and the butler will disappear until he is next summoned.
Also in keeping with Rosewood’s “A Sense of Place” philosophy – fragrance menus at each property will reflect the character of the city they are in.
On the menu for The Carlyle, New York is the timeless classic Hermès Eau des Mervailles and for outdoors lovers, Tom Ford’s Black Orchid has been chosen for Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver.
The following hotels are participating in the project:
The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel - New York, New York
Rosewood Crescent Hotel - Dallas, Texas
Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek - Dallas, Texas
The Mansion on Peachtree, A Rosewood Hotel & Residence - Atlanta, GA
Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi - Santa Fe, New Mexico
Rosewood Sand Hill - Menlo Park, California
Rosewood Hotel Georgia - Vancouver, BC, Canada
CordeValle, A Rosewood Resort - San Martin, CA
