Congratulations on the opening of Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. What can guests expect from a stay at this gorgeous new property?
Guests at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab can expect an extraordinary stay that blends contemporary elegance with a deep connection to the cultural fabric of the region. Inspired by the spirit of innovation that defines Jumeirah, the resort offers a bold new expression of hospitality, building on the legacy of Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The striking, superyacht-inspired design by acclaimed architect Shaun Killa creates a stunning silhouette along the Dubai coastline, offering visual continuity with Jumeirah’s iconic landmarks while standing out as a destination.
Inside, guests will experience next-generation wellness at Talise Spa, world-class dining and immersive cultural touches curated by regional talents such as Nadine Kanso and Feryal Al Bastaki. Every detail, from thoughtfully designed spaces to curated guest experiences, reflects a commitment to originality, authenticity, and excellence, ensuring that every stay is both memorable and meaningful.
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab completes the brand’s trilogy of hotels on Jumeirah Road. What sets the property apart from Jumeirah Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel?
What sets Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab apart from Jumeirah Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel is its unique ability to seamlessly blend sleek, superyacht-inspired design with the warmth of Arabian hospitality, creating an entirely new kind of destination. Located on one of Dubai’s most exclusive private peninsulas, it integrates three dimensions of excellence—hotel, residences and a private marina—into a single, unified experience.
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab offers an exclusive superyacht marina, a collection of serviced residences, and a vibrant waterfront promenade, delivering both privacy and a lively atmosphere. Designed as a modern global majlis, it serves as a meeting point for hospitality, wellness, dining, and cultural connection. Every one of its 386 rooms and suites includes a private terrace with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, providing a true sense of space, serenity, and belonging.
Jumeirah properties are famed for their F&B offering. Can you tell us what gourmands will be served?
At Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, culinary artistry and holistic wellness are central to shaping a transformative lifestyle destination. The Fore stands as a signature dining experience that redefines resort gastronomy, offering a dynamic journey through four distinct venues Umi Kei, Madame Li, Mirabelle and The Bombay Club. Inspired by the vibrancy of a cosmopolitan harbour, The Fore curates an evolving dining atmosphere throughout the day, allowing guests to immerse themselves in diverse cultures, flavours, and stories within a single, thoughtfully designed space.
Beyond The Fore, the resort’s broader culinary vision is rooted in delivering distinctive, storytelling-driven concepts. Venues such as Rialto, The Cullinan, and Umi Kei are designed to engage all senses, offering guests a deeper emotional connection to each experience. Every restaurant and bar reflect a strong sense of place, reinforcing the resort’s position as a true global culinary destination.
Completing this integrated lifestyle offering, the Talise Spa redefines holistic wellness with its pioneering 360-degree approach. Spanning three levels, the spa introduces the region’s first Remedy Suite alongside advanced therapies like Cryotherapy and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. With mindful programming, personalised nutrition, and a serene, restorative setting, Talise Spa exemplifies the resort’s commitment not just to luxury, but to longevity, balance and meaningful transformation, ensuring every stay is a journey of discovery, connection and well-being.
Can you tell us about the sustainability initiatives at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab?
At Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, sustainability is woven into every aspect of the guest experience. We have taken a holistic approach that balances innovation with environmental responsibility, focusing both on visible guest touchpoints and behind-the-scenes operations. Our commitment is reflected in initiatives such as energy-efficient infrastructure, smart in-room technologies, and curated dining menus built around local sourcing and seasonality. We are continually working to reduce our environmental footprint while enhancing the overall experience for our guests.
Sustainability is also integrated into our wellness offering. At Talise Spa, thoughtful design choices—from a 20-metre indoor pool and dedicated female-only floor to treatment suites with private terraces—align with our focus on well-being and mindful living. We combine sustainability with innovation by offering advanced therapies that promote longevity and vitality, ensuring that guests experience wellness that is both results-driven and responsibly delivered. Together, these initiatives represent our vision for a more conscious, future-focused model of hospitality.
You joined Jumeirah in 2023. What attracted you to Jumeirah?
What attracted me to Jumeirah was the opportunity to be part of a brand that is constantly pushing the boundaries of hospitality and redefining excellence. Joining in 2023, it was a privilege to contribute to a resort of this calibre in Dubai—a city that embodies ambition and innovation. Beyond the professional appeal, it was personally meaningful to work on a project that not only delivers exceptional guest experiences but also tells a powerful story about the future of hospitality. Jumeirah’s vision, bold spirit and commitment to shaping the next era of travel made it an incredibly exciting place to be.
What’s your definition of luxury?
My view of luxury is centred around personalisation, meaningful experiences, innovation, cultural connection and setting new standards rather than just traditional opulence. True luxury today is about thoughtfulness, emotional connections and authenticity rather than just material extravagance.
