The cosmopolitan emirate of Dubai is one of the most incredible destinations in the world when it comes to fine dining. Any type of cuisine is attainable, and drinks are of no exception.
This month the prestigious Drinks International announced it’s highly anticipated World’s 50 Best Bars Awards 2015, with Zuma Dubai coming in at #44. Amongst a board of over 400 members with a diverse experience in the industry, an ultimate guide has been formed.
2015’s #1 bar in the world is found in London. Named Artesian, a classic lounge style bar based in The Langham Hotel is taking the title for the fourth consecutive time. Their pairing of unique flavours with insane garnishes like crocodile heads and golden pineapples have made this bar a celebrated watering hole.
Europe remains the top region to grab a drink, with 23 bars on the list; from Paris to Berlin to Athens. Asian bars had some success as well; 28 Hong Kong Street in Singapore hit the top 10 list, and bars based in Tokyo and Hong Kong made their way to the final call.
For Zuma, Dubai’s winning venue, it may not come as a surprise to many locals. Based in Dubai’s International Financial Centre, Zuma has been a hugely popular concept where the line blurs between the perfect venue for business lunches, after work drinks, special occasions, and the place to see and be seen.
Some of the freshest sashimi in town is why foodies flock, but it’s Zuma’s sake bar, cocktail offerings, and premium lounge that even provides cleansers is why the accolades continue to build. The elegantly finished bar area is finished with antique wood features providing a dynamic atmosphere.
