Le Bristol Paris, one of the most iconic hotels in the French capital and part of the prestigious Oetker Collection, reopens its doors this month to reveal a gleaming collection of new-look signature suites and the new Lumière Suite, a stylish abode with unrivalled views over the Rue de Faubourg Saint Honoré.

Set up on the fifth floor of the storied hotel, the Lumière Suite takes the form of a stylish Parisian apartment, with bow windows allowing light to flood into the elegant space, comprising a separate bedroom, drawing room and library corridor, all decorated in shades of aqua, jade and coral.

Created by MM Design, the architectural firm owned by Oetker Group co-owner Countess Bergit Douglas, the Lumière Suite and other signature suites – the Paris Suite, Elysée Suite, the Panoramic Suite and the Honeymoon Suite – feature fabric and wallpaper from Colefax and Fowler, furnishings from Maison Taillardat and fabric from Italian firm Loro Piana, with soft toned walls courtesy of Farrow & Ball.

A new seasonal courtyard garden designed by world-renowned landscape designer Lady Arabella Lennox-Boyd provides a new focal point for the hotel’s ground floor; a gorgeous outdoor space featuring plants native to the region, where guests can meet and enjoy the outdoors without leaving the comfort of the hotel.

The renovations have taken place while the hotel has been closed due to the pandemic over the last six months; the first time the historic property has closed its doors since it first opened in 1925.
