Dubai has hundreds of five-star hotel suites, but none quite like these four new categories at W Dubai – Al Habtoor City. The 365-key 33-storey hotel has a room for every day of the year and its 72 “elite suites” are the pick of the bunch – and ideal for special occasions.
The accommodations fall into four distinct categories; Extreme Wow, Sensational, WOW and Mega Suites, in line with other W properties around the globe, building on the fun, playful and “larger than life” brand aesthetic.
THE EXTREME ONE
The most capacious and impressive edition is the 690sqm Extreme WOW Suite, which spans the 27th and 28th floors, accented by a large, circular king bed and high tech flourishes throughout. Perfect for parties, the suite has its own bar, DJ area, runway stage, pool table and steam room, priced from AED 35,000 a night.
THE SENSATIONAL ONE
Almost as vast at 449sqm, the Sensational Suite lives up to its name, centred around a stocked bar and open majlis-style lounge. The top floor abode is also equipped for a DJ to spin, and comes with its own steam room – all for AED 25,000 a night.
OH WOW...
“Cosy” by this Dubai hotel’s standards, the WOW suite is a one-bedroom luxury apartment, with a living room, funky bar area, billiards table, kitchenette, and its own cigar room with a humidor –starting from AED 15,000 per night.
THE REFINED ONE
While the bigger suites are geared for revelry, the 170sqm Mega Suite has a more comfy appeal and is the only option with a dining area for entertaining guests over a meal. The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobes, while the spacious living room area offers floor to ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the city and is separated by an enclosed kitchen area. It’s also the more affordable option at AED 10,000 a night.
