The only thing more exciting than a new restaurant opening is the rebirth of one of our favourite haunts. La Palme d’Or has returned to Cannes after an extensive renovation and redesign. Set inside the art-deco Hôtel Martinez, interiors pay homage to the restaurant’s relationship with the Cannes Film Festival as the host of the annual Jury Dinner, with heavy cinematic influences woven throughout its design including movie posters and scripts with handwritten notes from silver-screen legends.

The gourmet seafood establishment helmed by Chef Jean Imbert is centred around delicacies from the Mediterranean. Gourmands can tuck into highlights such as John Dory, lobster and bonito, with dessert options including chocolate and berry soufflés.
