One of London’s most iconic properties, The Beaumont in Mayfair has unveiled a new look, following a multi-million-dollar refurbishment, to coincide with its 10th anniversary. The hotel embodies the grand spirit of the scene-setting hotels of the 1920s, housed in a building which was originally one of the first parking garages designed for Selfridges shoppers. Under the direction of late French Architect and Designer, Thierry Despont, and Reardon Smith Architects, the hotel’s 101 rooms and suites house a unique selection of original prints, books, and paintings, as well as opulent bathrooms and contemporary comforts.

The presidential Roosevelt Suite has been redesigned to boast a mix of fabric covered walls, antique bronze glass, and Art Deco furniture, completed with a private terrace. Over the last two years The Beaumont, together with the Zuleika Gallery, has built an art collection of over 600 works that feature some of the most talented British, European, and American artists. Inspired by the Turkish baths at the Royal Automobile Club in London, and the original New York YMCA, the hotel features an Art Deco spa with a warmed marble hammam table, sauna, and steam room, plus four treatment rooms and a relaxation area. Chic dining outlets include the sophisticated Gatsby’s Room, Le Magritte Bar, and the charming Terrace, which brings alfresco café culture to the hotel. New flagship restaurant, Rosi, celebrates the best of British dishes with seasonal recipes.
