Rooftop antics aren’t reserved for summer at The Berkeley. The dazzling Knightsbridge property is inviting movie lovers to cosy up for some festive classics at the lofty Health Club & Spa will again transform its rooftop garden into a “pine-filled forest cinema” for the season. Guests, tourists and Londoners alike can watch Christmas classics on the big (ish) screen while staying warm with feather Moncler blankets and hot-water bottles – imbibing steaming hot cups of homemade hot chocolate, mulled wine, mince pies and biscuits. If you’re still feeling the cold, heated lamps will be glowing overhead, adding to the atmosphere.

Screenings will take place from December 1 to 26, with plenty of options for families and anyone just wanting to get into the spirit of things; make sure you arrive early to get a good spot for Miracle on 34th Street and Santa Clause the Movie. Poised above Knightsbridge’s high-end hotels and retail and with views of Hyde Park, the pine-lined outdoor theatre is the city’s only rooftop private cinema and is one of London’s most intimate screens, considering there’s only space for just eight guests per viewing.

Two evening screenings will take place each day at 5pm and 7pm and a special Winter Cinema package is available at GBP 65 per person and includes mulled wine, hot chocolate and home-made mince pies. The Luxury Winter Cinema package is available at GBP85 per person and includes Champagne, mulled wine and Christmas canapés. To book, simply call The Berkeley Health Club & Spa on +44 207 201 1699.
