Frieze Art Fair - New York
The fourth edition of Frieze New York will return to Randall’s Island Park, Manhattan bringing some exciting newcomers to the creative pool, including Blum & Poe, Matthew Marks, Acquavella and Freedman Fitzpatrick. In addition to the 190 contemporary art galleries from around the globe, the fair will also showcase a new specialist section, ‘Spotlight’, dedicated to solo artist presentations based around work made in the 20th century, putting a contemporary lens on some seriously iconic historical works.

Gnaoua World Music Festival - Essaouria, Morocco
Held in Morocco’s windsurfing capital, this four-day extravaganza has become a firm fixture on the world music festival calendar. The beautiful coastal town of Essaouria devotes its maze of streets, beaches and public squares to the festival, where local musicians mix with global artists, combining jazz, pop, rock, hip-hop and contemporary music. Headlining this year is Grammy Award-winning jazz saxophonist and flautist, Kenny Garrett.

175 Years, Forever Cunard - Liverpool, England
Cunard Line is celebrating its historic 175th anniversary in style, bringing together all three Cunard Queen Ocean liners to their spiritual home of Liverpool in an event that will make maritime history. On May 23, the Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria cruise liners will sail past the old headquarters in salute, and perform a spectacular water ballet display which marks the start of the Mersey River Festival. Expect live music, fireworks, and a very merry Merseyside.
