We’ve certainly been spoiled by the stellar First and Business Class options available on Emirates, Etihad, et al but this US airline has responded with the first business class cabin to feature a sliding door at each suite.
A total of 32 Delta One suites will debut on the airline’s first Airbus A350, which is due to begin service late next year. In addition to fully lie-flat seats with direct aisle access each suite will offer a full height door, ambient lighting, stowage, memory foam cushions, 18-inch monitors and universal power outlets.

“Delta constantly listens to customers and responds with products that deliver what they want. After setting the standard with the introduction of full flat-bed seats with direct aisle access in 2008, Delta is again elevating the international business class experience,” said Tim Mapes, Delta’s SVP and chief marketing officer. “Added comfort and privacy are important to business travelers, and that drove the design of the all-new Delta One suite.”

Business Class passengers will also be offered chef-curated meals, wine pairings by Delta’s Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson, Westin Heavenly In-Flight Bedding, noise-cancelling headsets, TUMI amenity kits featuring Kiehl’s Since 1851 premium skincare, and in-flight loungewear on select flights.
