The dreaded jet lag symptoms of long-haul flights may soon be a thing of the past thanks to the introduction of a flying wellness programme by private aviation company, VistaJet.
Offering its members onboard wellness facilities and services to destinations with a focus on wellbeing, the new initiative hopes to transform flights from a potentially tiring experience to an energising one with a plan to suit each individual’s needs.

The service will target three phases of flying; pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight. Before taking off, passengers will consult with a VistaJet nutritionist who will advise the foods to eat before and during the flight. Once in the air, guests can kick back and relax with ergonomic seating to assist their posture, meditation and breathing apps, and products from wellness leaders including Guerlain’s Orchidée Imperial collection and JING teas. When the wheels touch down at their destination, passengers will be provided with wellness guides by Dr Jordan Shlain, as well as tips on how to maintain their wellbeing after flying.
CEO of VistaJet, Matteo Atti says the aviation company’s goal is to help benefit their passengers’ health while taking them to their destination. “Flying better means living better, and the advantage of flying privately should not be limited to the speed of the flight alone. In our aim for excellence, we researched all the ways to benefit the minds and bodies of the people who fly with us.

“Using our resources, knowledge, and network, we can really support our members, particularly those who spend a lot of time in the air. When flying is part of your life or business routine, we want to make sure it is a moment that adds value. This is why we designed the Wellness World programme.”
The VistaJet Wellness Program will also give its members the opportunity to access wellness practices at various destinations around the globe, including spiritual expeditions in Nepal and Bhutan, retreats designed to help with recovery after flying in Switzerland, and the learning of the four pillars of Joali Being in the Maldives.
