Adorned with rare and colourful diamonds, Graff’s stunning new wristwatch could well be the world’s costliest.
The leading diamond importer is known for its hand-crafted jewellery, but the $55 million Hallucination is stealing headlines as the next level of luxury watchmaking.
The firm describes the aesthetic of the watch as an ‘unprecedented kaleidoscope’, which includes over 100-carats of ‘extremely rare’ diamonds.
The ladies timepiece was unveiled at Basel Wold, where Graff Diamonds debuted this year.
“The Graff Hallucination is a sculptural masterpiece; a celebration of the miracle of coloured diamonds,” said Laurence Graff, chairman of Graff Diamonds.
“For many years I have thought about creating a truly remarkable watch that illustrates our all-consuming passion for diamonds. The Hallucination has made my diamond dream a reality,” he continued.
The concept for Hallucination came directly from Graff himself, before master craftsmen worked for thousands of hours on the piece.
The watch can now be presented upon request at the GRAFF stores in The Dubai Mall and the Burj Al Arab.
