JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll Island Resort has announced a partnership with German skincare brand BABOR, bringing high-performance treatments to the Maldives for the first time. The collaboration enhances the resort’s Overwater Spa by JW with a menu of BABOR’s advanced skincare rituals, including its marine-based SeaCreation line.

Set within Kaafu Atoll’s largest lagoon, the resort’s spa comprises four overwater villas housing six treatment rooms, each designed to enhance connection with the surrounding seascape. The partnership’s centrepiece is the Ocean Bliss treatment, an exclusive ritual that integrates BABOR’s SeaCreation products with elements inspired by the Maldivian ocean. The treatment is designed to deliver both visible skin results and deep relaxation.

BABOR’s SeaCreation range uses marine biotechnology and active ingredients from deep-sea organisms to promote rejuvenation and radiance. The launch at JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll marks the first time these treatments have been offered in the Maldives.

The resort itself is located 15 minutes by boat from Velana International Airport and features 80 pool villas, including 47 overwater villas. Design touches include traditional island elements and contemporary styling, while five dining venues and two bars highlight local produce, including ingredients grown on-site in the JW Garden.

This partnership supports BABOR’s international expansion and strengthens the resort’s wellness offering, positioning it as a destination for both skincare-focused travellers and those seeking a holistic escape.
